As the end of 2021 approaches, we’re taking a look back at our top ten moments on the channel from the past year. In no particular order, we have…

New cars added to the channel:

Including the McLaren Senna, McLaren 720s, Porsche 992 GT3 and Porsche 997 RS 4.0 litre all joined the channel this year. Each bringing a specific set of qualities and highlights, these cars were selected to join the awesome range of cars we already have on the JWW channel.

 Our trip to Scotland:

We took those four cars on the most beautiful and glossy road trip we could possibly have immersed you in, and really lucked out, because 9 of our 10 days on the road were filled with sunshine.

 Dubai trip:

The idea behind this trip was to escape the terrible lighting that comes from the clocks changing in the UK, and bring ourselves abroad to keep the momentum of content alive throughout the winter season. What was initially a 6-week trip has been extended to around a 2.5 month trip, and we’ve just had the most incredible time.

 Filming the Big 5 Ferraris:

We were invited by Ferrari Colchester to view the big 5 collection of Ferrari icons. Consisting of La Ferrari, Enzo, F50, F40 and even the 288 GTO, this incredible line was is worth £11m. Having the opportunity to back-to-back drive three of them was a bucket-list ticking type day for me.

 Hosting:

Every year I am always honoured and blown away in equal measure when I’m invited to host certain events, and this year has been no different. A special highlight of this was Aston Martin asking me to host the global launch of the new Valhalla hypercar, at Silverstone, a moment which gives me goosebumps thinking back to it.

 The Rolls Royce Boat Tail:

Our biggest video of the year, we were invited by Rolls Royce the have the exclusive on the video of this exquisite car going live. The video is about to push 3 million views, being picked up globally, and it was such an honour to be in front of the world’s most expensive new car, coming in at $20 million.

I didn’t expect this moment to make the list, having only filmed it a few weeks back, but 1 million of you have already tuned in to see the moment my camera man, Yorkie, flipped and fully rolled his vehicle out in the sand. The feedback in the comments of this video spoke volumes to how much everyone enjoyed it, which was mirrored in the excitement I found being in a brand-new environment with incredible people.

Our first customers of the Aston Martin DBX x JWW

We have been honoured to create a limited edition, special run of Aston Martin DBX x JWW cars. Over the course of 12 months, working closely with Aston Martin, Q division and the JWW team, we developed an entirely bespoke model for the brand.

JWW Sunglasses:

After 18 months in the making, this year we launched the JWW Sunglasses brand out into the world. It has been the most remarkable hit, and we’ve now shipped to over 65 counties around the world, with amazing feedback.

 Bunker at Yas Marina

Aiming to create dream drives for petrol heads around the world, we’ve partnered up with Octanium Experiences, to kit out our incredible space at the Yas Marina F1 Circuit. This is the first move to expand the JWW brand internationally, and this has been by far my highlight of the year.
